The purpose of the "Management of Businesses and Organizations" course is to train students to become high-level decision-makers [internally] or consultants [externally] in companies and organizations, in France and abroad.

The course builds on the strengths of the Sciences Po Bordeaux program to train individuals with profiles sought after and valued by recruiters, combining the skills acquired through the Sciences Po Bordeaux method with the specific skills acquired through this master's program.

This course is provided in partnership with the Pôle Universitaire de Sciences de Gestion and the Bordeaux University Law School.

Objectives

The fourth year: it takes place at Sciences Po Bordeaux. The classes train students in the different different functions of companies in order for them to understand and gain command of the mechanisms and main management tools and techniques. The students are trained in an operational environment in which emphasis is placed on the development of autonomy, seminar work, the production of case analyses and recommendations in a professional environment. The teachers and professional speakers validate the skills acquired.

The fifth year: students can choose from a wide range of Master 2 courses, conducted at the Pôle Universitaire de Sciences de Gestion de la Bastide, in Bordeaux on the right bank of the Gironde River [PUSG] and the Law College of the University of Bordeaux in Pessac. Many specialties are offered [subject to available places]: International Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Private Asset Management, Human Resources, Economic Intelligence, and Organizational Management, Financial Management, Control, and Audit... at the PUSG of the Bastide. Other students may opt for a course in law * [Business Law or Notarial Law] at the Pessac Law UFR. Students attend certain classes at the IEP as part of the diploma course.
