The objective of the Master’s course "Careers in politics" is to train students in the skills expected of an adviser in a ministerial or local authority office, or in those of an assistant to an elected official [local, European or national] or a consultant specialized in political issues [for administrations and professional organizations or public affairs companies]. The course will also enable the students who are interested in research to develop some specialized knowledge that will enable them to approach in an informed manner the elements that structure the activities of elected officials at different levels. They will then be able to carry further the work begun during the Master's course by pursuing a doctorate in the social sciences with the Émile Durkheim Centre.
