French Track

International students at Sciences Po Bordeaux may choose from a wide selection of courses in the fields of political science, international relations, economics, European studies, lax, and social sciences. Those who are admitted in the French Track program take courses conducted in French.

The French Track is designed for students whose level of French is equal to or above B1. French Track students may also take one or two courses in English if desired. An official language certificate is not mandatory for admission into the French Track, however Sciences Po Bordeaux requires an attestation from a French instructor in the absence of an official language certificate.

Application Procedure and Deadlines

If your home institute does not have a partnership agreement with Sciences Po Bordeaux, please refer to the section Individual Applications (Free Mover).

For international students from one of Sciences Po Bordeaux’s partner universities, nominations must be sent to Sciences Po Bordeaux by:

  • 30 April 2024 for the Fall 2024 semester
  • 30 October 2024 for the Spring 2025 semester
