Presentation

This class examines the EU's external relations, by focusing on several aspects: in the first part of the class, we will examine the EU as an international actor.  In particular, we will discuss the international character of the EU, multilateral cooperation and the EU's external agreements. The second part of the class focuses on the different external policies implemented by the EU in areas such as foreign affairs and defence (CFSP and CSDP), international trade, enlargement and neighbourhood policy, as well as development and humanitarian aid.
