The aim of this class is for students to familiarize themselves with the comparative law method by taking into consideration the interactions between legal orders, i.e. the international legal order, the European legal order and other regional organizations and the national legal orders (mainly France, Spain, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom). These interactions are illustrated by focus themes such as environmental law, law on the regulation of networked public services, the organization of public administration and the organization of administrative justice.
Students are required to have basic knowledge in administrative law, European Union law, Law of the European Convention on Human Rights, international public law.
Student participation in discussions on current affairs and group work on selected topics.
