The "Applied Geo-economics" course aims to train students into becoming specialists able to link strategic problems and the analysis of the economic, financial, institutional and political prospects of countries and regional block.
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the interpretive frameworks and techniques used by multinational economic agents to interpret the world, anticipate localized changes and ruptures, and define commercial, industrial, financing, and investment strategies.

This Master's degree opens job opportunities are mainly in banks, large companies, and consulting firms. There are three main categories of jobs :
economic research officer, situational and forward-looking analyst in banks, insurance companies, economic departments in large companies, trade unions, and professional federations, local authorities and international institutions;
country risk analyst in banks, insurance companies, rating agencies, import-export;
business engineer and strategic planning professions in companies [contract management, sourcing, feasibility analysis for setting up a new entity...], law firms, and consulting firms [project implementation].
