Presentation

The objective of this class is to ensure that students gain a good understanding of the French social protection system and acquire up-to-date knowledge of current figures and issues, and to prepare students for presenting their knowledge.

Topics covered: the French population; social security, social welfare; social Europe and comparisons with foreign countries; childhood and family policy; policy for senior and/or and disabled citizens; the fight against social exclusion; health policies; the labor and employment market, wage employment.
