HR Management


Presentation of the activities related to human resources in the public service. HR related issues being relevant to all managers of an organizations, the role of managers is highlighted in the presentation of the following themes: HR policy, HR budget, remuneration, sick leave, prevention of professional risks, recruitment, GPEEC (Forward planning of job requirements and skills), professional interviews, time management, and social dialogue.

Recommended Prerequisite(s)

Knowledge of the civil service status, rights and obligations, career development, the concept of employment corps and categories, grades and ranks.

Educational formula

Lecture during which students are invited to participate and ask questions. Students can project themselves in the role of HR executive or manager and the speaker will then describe the activities and skills involved in those positions.
